Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

This one barely qualifies as a Mario game since it mainly features Yoshi but since it features baby Mario I think it counts. This game was released as the SNES days were coming to an end. The object of the game was to play as Yoshi and escort baby Mario to help find his brother, baby Luigi. It offered the interesting gameplay mechanic of aiming and shooting eggs to kill enemies and solve puzzles. Also, being one of the last games of the 2D generation, it had some of the best 2D graphics that I have ever seen on the SNES. It made for a memorable experience before I moved on to the Nintendo 64 and Playstation.
